We are currently recruiting a Cafe Head Chef for our beautiful Cafe in Dublin City Center.

you will work alongside our Executive Head Chef, who has development & training at the heart of what he does.

The Person / Ideal Candidate You are innovative, creative and passionate about your craft, with an innate ability to fuse ingredients and develop taste concepts Working to exacting standards, your background may be in gourmet/haute cuisine, ptisserie, artisan baking, café management, innovation or similar You exceed expectations and push new boundaries for our customers The role includes: Ensuring that all food is of excellent quality.

Quality & Customer Experience Experience in retail display of food units Customer interaction - our Head Chef will be customer focused at all times Training the kitchen team to be their best Proactively monitor/assess kitchen processes and identify scope for efficiency/sustainability/service enhancements and address associated requirements.

Liaising with the relevant companies for food orders.

Monitoring and controlling stock levels.

Ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed.

Maintaining/raising the foods profit margins for the company.

Ability to maintain food costs and effective rostering are essential in this role.

Interviewing and hiring new kitchen staff.

Ensure that safeguards are in place for food handlers work practices i.e.

food safety, hygiene and accident prevention.

Keeping up to date with industry trends.

Receiving feedback and making improvements where necessary.

Chef Requirements: Past experience as a Head Chef Advanced knowledge of the culinary arts.

Ability to lead a team Perfectionism in sanitation and quality control.

Expert multitasking ability.

Haccp trained Great interpersonal skills.

Exemplary work ethic in a high-pressure environment.

Passion and pride for delighting people with food.
