We are seeking an Occupational Therapist with experience working with adults on behalf of an Adult Primary Care Service in Clondalkin.
Excel Recruitment are recruiting a Senior Occupational Therapist to join an adult Primary Care Team in Clondalkin.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a community-based team, providing essential Occupational Therapy services to adults requiring intervention to enhance their functional abilities and quality of life.
We are very excited to be able to offer a Senior Occupational therapist a full time position within our well established Adult Primary care team.
Candidates should have: Experience working in community therapy or similar discharge planning services.
Strong rehabilitation planning skills.
Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and handle urgent care caseloads efficiently.
Role Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy interventions to adults within the Primary Care setting.
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised care plans to promote functional independence in activities of daily living.
Provide intervention in areas such as self-care, mobility, housing adaptations, equipment prescription, and falls prevention.
Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, including Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Public Health Nurses, and GPs.
Supervise and support junior staff, students, and Occupational Therapy Assistants, ensuring high standards of practice.
Participate in the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives within the Primary Care team.
Requirements: Be registered on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
Minimum of three years post-qualification experience, with at least one year in a relevant area such as Primary Care, Community, or Rehabilitation.
Experience working in community therapy or similar discharge planning services.
Strong rehabilitation planning skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary colleagues and service users.
A full driver's license and access to a vehicle are essential.
Current residency in Ireland with the legal right to work without restrictions.
