About us: St James's Hospital is Ireland's largest acute academic teaching hospital and is based in Dublin's south inner city. Our fundamental purpose is the delivery of health treatment, care and diagnosis as well as health promotion and preventative services at local, regional and national levels. Our academic partner is Trinity College Dublin.

Purpose of the role: The role of the Senior Occupational Therapist in Geriatric Oncology is to provide a comprehensive service as a core member of the multi-disciplainry team to older adults throughout their cancer journey at St. James's Hospital. Older adults with cancer face unique challenges and have distinct needs related to diagnosis, treatment and care. This post aims to provide personalised care to help improve treatment outcomes and quality of life for older cancer patients.
