Meath.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic professional to lead the C&B department in a thriving events and weddings venue.

The Conference & Banqueting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning and execution of all events within the hotel, including conferences, weddings, banquets, and private functions.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, guest-focused, and capable of leading a team to deliver exceptional service standards from initial booking through to event delivery.

Our client is a well-established luxury hotel known for its elegant setting, exceptional service, and strong reputation as a wedding and events destination.

With a loyal client base and an active event calendar, the property provides a collaborative and rewarding environment for hospitality professionals.

Key Duties & Responsibilities: * Manage all aspects of the Conference & Banqueting department on a daily basis * Oversee event set-up, service, and breakdown in coordination with operational teams * Liaise with clients to ensure all event requirements are met and expectations exceeded * Lead, train, and schedule the C&B team to deliver seamless event execution * Collaborate with Sales, Kitchen, and Front Office teams to ensure smooth operations * Monitor service standards and implement improvements as needed * Ensure compliance with all health & safety, fire, and hygiene regulations * Manage stock levels, linen, equipment, and function room readiness Requirements: * 2+ years' experience in a similar Conference & Banqueting or Events Management role * Strong leadership and organisational skills * A passion for delivering excellent guest service with attention to detail * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities * Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously * Knowledge of event software systems is an advantage * Must be living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland * Please note: Visa and relocation packages are not provided Salary & Benefits: * 45,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience) * Opportunities for career progression within a luxury hotel group * Access to professional development and training programs * A dynamic and supportive working environment
