Senior Project Engineer

My client, an established Tier 1 Contractor is looking for a Senior Project Engineer to lead pharma/industrial projects from design through to fit-out and handover. You'll work closely with clients, manage project quality, and ensure compliance with BCAR and industry standards. This role is also open to a Junior/Assistant Project Manager with strong technical experience who is looking to progress to a senior engineering/project management role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects through design, fit-out, and handover.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and BCAR regulations.
  • Coordinate and review designs and ensure smooth integration with construction/fit-out works.
  • Act as a client contact, managing expectations and relationships.
  • Support project teams, providing guidance and technical expertise.
  • Monitor budgets, schedules, and project progress.
  • Maintain project documentation and reporting.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years' experience preferred for Senior Project Engineer
  • Experience in pharma or industrial projects preferred.
  • Knowledge of quality systems, BCAR, and fit-out processes.
  • Strong client-facing skills.
  • Good design coordination experience.
  • Ability to manage projects independently and support junior team members.
  • Degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent experience).
