Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned mechanical design expert to lead the delivery of MEP solutions across various sectors.

The successful candidate will oversee installation projects, manage project outcomes, mentor junior professionals, conduct site assessments, and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Collaborate with project directors to develop project requirements and strategies.
  • Deliver high-quality mechanical design solutions, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Prepare detailed reports, budgets, and client cost updates.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering their growth and development.
  • Attend site meetings, review technical submissions, and conduct site inspections.
  • Ensure quality, coordination, and progress across all mechanical elements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering (Chartership recognized).
  • At least 5 years' consultancy-based design experience on commercial MEP projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, water services, drainage, and design software (Hevacomp, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks).
  • Excellent communication, report writing, and project management skills.
  • Chartered Engineer status or ability to apply within 18 months.
