Manufacturing Projects Scientist/Engineer – Biologics

Location: Dublin 15, Ireland

Contract Role – 12 Months

A client of ours, a global biopharmaceutical leader, is seeking a Manufacturing Projects Scientist/Engineer to support the introduction of new products at a state-of-the-art multi-product biologics facility in Dublin.

This role is a key part of the New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing support team, helping to ensure smooth tech transfers, operational readiness, and robust manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support new product introductions, risk assessments, and tech transfer activities.
  • Drive process improvements, write impact assessments, and contribute to documentation readiness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, QA, Engineering, Regulatory, etc.).
  • Represent manufacturing interests in meetings and ensure production-readiness.
  • Participate in audits, training, and the implementation of new raw materials or consumables.
  • Author and review GMP documentation, including batch records and procedures.
  • Lead or support change controls, CAPAs, and investigations.
  • Promote a "Right-First-Time" culture and continuous improvement mindset.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of GMP biologics manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Familiarity with systems such as DeltaV, MES Syncade, and SAP.
  • Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams, support investigations, and deliver results in a dynamic, regulated environment.
  • Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for operational excellence and driving new technologies (e.g., Single-Use Systems).
