Position Summary
NeoDyne are recruiting a Graduate Automation Engineer to join our expanding System Integration team. Our graduate programme is all about learning new and developing your existing skills. Over a two-year period, you will be placed in projects where you get to do meaningful work and contribute to the business.
This Graduate opportunity is offered as a full-time permanent contract, based at our Cork Office, with an excellent salary and benefits package. What will I be doing?
- Over a two-year period, you will be placed in projects where you get to do meaningful work and contribute to the business. Projects will be spread across all areas of Industrial Automation and could include PLC and SCADA design, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), control logic programming, control panel hardware design, and site testing & commissioning.
- Generating technical documentation and dealing with customers will also be key parts of our graduate programme to help develop your soft skills. You will also have the opportunity to travel to customer sites to get involved in installation, testing, and commissioning.
Our induction programme revolves around a 70-20-10 model for learning and development.

- 10% Formal Education:We'll help you become an expert in your chosen field, backed up by formal e-learning and classroom training. This extends to attaining professional certifications where relevant to our business specialisations.
Experience & skills
- Level 8 Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Computer Science/ Information Systems or related field.
- 0-2 years' experience in a similar automation role or Work Placement.
- Full Irish driving license or to be achieved within 12months of starting the role.
- PLC Programming Experience: Siemens/ Rockwell.
- HMI/ SCADA Experience: Siemens/ Rockwell/ AVEVA/ Schneider.
