Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Data Scientist who thrives at the intersection of analytics, product thinking, and innovation. The ideal candidate will develop algorithms to solve complex, real-world business problems across the team.blue group. This role requires strong programming and data wrangling skills, good communication abilities, and up-to-date knowledge of the latest Data Science/ML/AI developments.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and prototype innovative data and AI products using classical machine learning methods and generative AI (GenAI).
  2. Take ownership of developing, implementing, and automating robust data science models and pipelines, including feature generation, modeling, evaluation, retraining, and deployment.
  3. Translate analytical findings and model outcomes into clear insights for stakeholders, driving value and improvements in key business metrics.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver Data Science/ML/AI solutions.
  5. Conduct research on the latest Data Science/ML/AI developments and apply them to improve systems.
  6. Document processes, code, and findings for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills and Experience:

  1. Proven hands-on experience (5+ years) designing and implementing diverse data science and machine learning models.
  2. Expert programming skills in Python and SQL, with relevant ML & AI frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, Pandas) and design patterns (e.g., RAG).
  3. Experience experimenting with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
  4. Deep understanding of Data Science/ML toolsets, methodologies, and approaches.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills with excellent communication and documentation skills.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have Skills:

  1. Master's or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related fields.
  2. Background in software engineering, especially in backend or ML development and system integration.
  3. Deep understanding of DataOps & MLOps practices, including deploying and monitoring models and ETL pipelines.
  4. Experience with AI/ML R&D.
  5. Experience with distributed data tools (e.g., Spark, Dask, Apache Arrow).
