Job Description:

Due to continued growth & expansion in the Roscommon area, Comfort Homecare is recruiting additional Health Care Assistants to support our Roscommon team.

Driving Essential

Most competitive rates starting at €15 per hour. Higher rate on Sundays, €10 for half-hour calls plus travel allowance of 41c per km. Additional benefits.

- Fully Funded QQI Level 5 and 6 qualifications

- In-House Manual Handling and Patient-Moving Certification

Requirements:

- QQI Level 5 in Care Skills and Care of the Elderly

- Reliable and Dependable

- Full Clean Driver's License and own vehicle

- Flexible with a positive attitude

- Caring and person-centred approach

- Good communication and practical skills

- Some experience and training preferred

- Weekend and evening work required

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high standards of emotional, social, and personal care
  • Follow all company policies
  • Accurate record-keeping
  • Participate in ongoing training
  • Implement care plans
  • Offer practical and emotional support professionally

Job Type: Part-time / Full-time

Hours: 18-40 per week

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Weekend availability
  • Flexible hours

Experience:

  • At least 1 year as an HCA required

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Care Skills or Healthcare Support certificate (desirable)
  • Full Clean Driver's License required
