Recruitment: Food & Agribusiness Executive

Are you ready to help great clients build their future? We are seeking a talented Food & Agribusiness Executive to join our award-winning ifac Food and Agribusiness team based in Dublin two days per month and Kilkenny one day per month with a blend of WFH with access to our regional office network for the remainder of the week. The Role

You will be working closely with our Group Head of Growth and Agrifood Consulting and the wider team in a challenging and varied role. Our team provides a range of business consultancy and advice to food and agribusinesses throughout Ireland.

Working with a catalogue of industry-leading clients, the Food & Agribusiness Executive will have an unparalleled opportunity to become a high-impact business advisor and develop an exceptional career in the food and agribusiness sector. This role requires a keen interest and ability in marketing and communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building and managing great relationships with current and future ifac clients.
  • Working with our clients on a range of consultancy projects including:
  • Business transformation.
  • Strategic planning.
  • Funding applications to a range of State and European bodies.
  • Report writing.
  • Marketing and communications.
  • Participating in business development across the sector.
  • Collaborating with ifac team members in corporate finance, accountancy, tax, audit, and financial planning.
  • Attending industry events.
  • Contributing to thought leadership projects including the annual ifac Food and Agribusiness Report.
You Will Have
  • A Master's Degree in a food business or agribusiness related discipline.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience working in industry or a similar role in professional services.
  • A passion for helping business owners solve problems and maximise opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and technical knowledge.
  • A proactive and energetic approach with the capacity to work to deadlines.
  • An interest in high impact marketing and communication transformation projects.
  • Commercial awareness with a commitment to provide exceptional client service.
  • A willingness to learn and grow professionally.
  • The ability to adapt to new technologies and projects on a continuous basis.
