Digital Managed Service Agreements (MSA) Program Manager

Milestone is a dynamic automation and digital systems consultancy focused on the Life Sciences and FMCG sectors, with over 160 experts experienced in lean analysis, process optimisation, system integration, equipment automation, MES solutions, manufacturing intelligence, and project management.

The MSA Program Manager will lead the Digital MSA teams for Milestone, reporting to the Managing Director. Responsibilities include maintaining strong client relationships, managing service delivery, contract management, compliance oversight, and team leadership, with a focus on excellence and accountability. The role also involves supporting business growth in Ireland and Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Digital MSA teams responsible for IT/OT systems on life sciences manufacturing sites (e.g., PAS, PLC, HMI, OEM, BMS, Historian, MES).
  • Promote a safe site culture across the business.
  • Oversee delivery of managed services agreements to ensure client satisfaction and service quality.
  • Maintain and develop client relationships, understanding their needs and objectives.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align services with client expectations and standards.
  • Monitor service performance metrics and implement continuous improvement strategies.
  • Manage contract negotiations, renewals, and expansions.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to managed services teams, fostering a culture of excellence and supporting training and development.
  • Support development of new managed service business in Ireland and Europe, potentially managing a site in the short to medium term.
  • Prepare and present reports on the status, progress, and outcomes of managed services agreements.
  • Comply with client and company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Automation, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients and stakeholders.
  • Leadership skills to motivate teams and ensure high performance.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of process control principles and industrial automation systems.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards in Life Sciences (e.g., GAMP, ISA-S88, ISA-95, ISA-62443).

Additional Desired Criteria

  • Master's degree in Business Administration.
  • Familiarity with DeltaV control systems, Rockwell and Siemens PLCs, and MES systems like Aveva PI, Syncade/PAS-X.
