About your role: Your mission is to help us mend it by diving headfirst into the world of Electrical Engineering. You'll absorb the wisdom, grasp the skills, and earn the qualifications to emerge as a top-tier Electrician – a true household hero. Under the wing of our experienced engineers, you'll learn how to deliver energy efficient solutions to our customers through maintaining or upgrading their electrical systems, while working with green innovations such as smart grids, energy storage, and renewable energy tech. This is a hands-on role delivering energy-saving systems that make a real difference for families.

Responsibilities
  • During your apprenticeship, you'll absorb the wisdom, grasp the skills, and earn the qualifications to emerge as a top-tier Electrician.
  • Learn to deliver energy efficient solutions to customers by maintaining or upgrading electrical systems.
  • Work with green innovations such as smart grids, energy storage, and renewable energy technology.
  • Contribute to delivering energy-saving systems that help families save money and improve daily life.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of five passes at leaving certificate level (must include English & Mathematics).
  • A genuine passion for learning a trade, striving for a successful career and providing excellent customer service.
  • A driving licence is not required to begin the apprenticeship; however, you must be willing and able to obtain one during the programme to progress into an Electrician role.
  • Availability to attend training at a SOLAS training centre; flexibility to travel and stay away from home for work assignments across the country, with accommodation and travel provided if needed.
  • Must be able to fulfil the physical requirements of the role (bend, stretch, kneel, crouch) and be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces; able to carry or lift heavy items such as electrical components and equipment.

  • Starting salary of €17,135, rising to €22,031 at 1 year, €31,822 at 2 years, and €39,165 after 3 years, with additional add-ons.
