About My Client

They are a leading international construction company with a strong track record in delivering complex and large-scale data centre and distribution centre projects across Europe. With continued growth in their pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our high-performing team based in Dublin.

The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the commercial and contractual performance of major data centre and distribution centre builds. You will be involved in all aspects of cost control, procurement, risk management, and financial reporting to ensure successful project delivery on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost plans, budgets, and valuations
  • Manage subcontractor packages including procurement, payment, and performance monitoring
  • Perform detailed cost reporting and forecasting
  • Work closely with the project delivery team to monitor progress and mitigate commercial risks
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders on commercial matters
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within the industrial, data centre, or large commercial sector
  • Strong knowledge of contract law and standard forms (e.g., NEC, FIDIC, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in construction cost management software (e.g., CostX, Cubit, etc.)
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland and flexibility to travel if required
