Job Description:
Real People Recruitment is seeking a dynamic and motivated Field Sales Representative to join our client's growing team in Ballycoolin, Dublin 15. This role is focused on engaging with new and existing customers on-site to promote our range of office supplies and office furniture, generating leads, and driving sales through direct customer interactions. The ideal candidate will have prior field sales experience in the office supply industry, a valid driving license, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement:
  • Conduct in-person visits to potential and existing customers to showcase products and services.
  • Build strong relationships by understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions.
Sales and Lead Generation:
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products during on-site consultations to maximize revenue.
  • Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and KPIs.
Product Knowledge:
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's product range to effectively communicate features and benefits during face-to-face interactions.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings.
CRM and Data Management:
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Follow up on leads and inquiries promptly to ensure customer satisfaction and drive conversions.
Collaboration and Reporting:
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and share market insights.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance and field observations.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Experience:
  • Prior field sales experience in the office supplies or office furniture industry is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive market.
Driving License:
  • A valid driving license is required as this role involves frequent travel to customer locations.
Sales Skills:
  • Strong ability to persuade and influence customers while maintaining professionalism.
Communication:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Technical Proficiency:
  • Comfortable using CRM software and MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Resilience and Drive:
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to handle objections and rejection constructively.
Team Player:
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
