Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee our Grounds Maintenance and Winter Maintenance operations in Ireland.

This pivotal role involves managing and inspiring teams to deliver exceptional services to our clients across Ireland, ensuring service excellence and contributing to our mission of sustainable operations.

The successful candidate will have autonomy to drive efficiencies, manage budgets, and collaborate with operational and support teams to optimize service delivery and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the delivery of Grounds Maintenance and Winter Maintenance services across Ireland.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop contracts managers and field-based teams to achieve high standards of performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients in fast-paced environments.
  • Monitor and manage financial performance, including full profit and loss responsibility.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Line management of direct reports.

This role is field-based with a mix of site work, remote working, and office attendance for meetings and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and inspire teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong business sense with experience in managing budgets and driving financial performance.
  • P&L Experience: Demonstrated success in managing profit and loss responsibilities.
  • Client Management: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with highly commercial clients.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results.
  • Driving License: A full, clean driving license is essential due to the field-based nature of the role.
