About the Role:

Medforce Recruitment is seeking a dedicatedCognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT)to join a dynamicChildren's Disability Network Team (CDNT)in Meath. This rewarding role involves delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support children and adolescents with disabilities, helping them manage emotional, behavioural, and psychological challenges.

As a key member of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, psychologists, and social workers to deliver holistic, family-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist CBT assessments and interventions for children with a range of developmental, emotional, and behavioural needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based care plans.
  • Collaborate closely with families and caregivers, offering guidance and psychoeducation to support children's mental health.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated, person-centered services.
  • Participate in service development initiatives and contribute to quality improvement projects.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in line with professional standards.

Requirements:

  • Qualification:A recognized qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
  • Experience:Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience, ideally working with children or in disability services.
  • Registration:Accredited with a recognized professional body (e.g., BABCP, IACP, IAHIP).
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in delivering CBT to children and adolescents.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Compassionate, family-centered approach.
