Job Title: Legal Counsel – FinTech

Location: Dublin (Hybrid)

Our Client

Our client is a fast-growing and highly acquisitive FinTech company headquartered in Dublin. They are developing cutting-edge digital financial solutions that are transforming how consumers and businesses engage with payments and financial services. As the company continues to scale through international expansion and strategic acquisitions, they are seeking a Legal Counsel to support commercial, regulatory, and transactional activities. Who Should Apply?

This role is ideal for commercially minded lawyers ready to thrive in a high-growth, acquisitive, and fast-moving FinTech environment:

  • 1–3 years PQE, ideally trained in a top-tier or large commercial firm
  • Strong experience in commercial contracts; exposure to M&A, financial services, or regulatory law is advantageous
  • Comfortable managing competing priorities in a dynamic, tech-driven company
  • Previous exposure to UK or US legal and regulatory frameworks is a plus
  • Interest in FinTech, digital payments, or financial innovation is highly valued

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Counsel, your role will include:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of commercial agreements (customer, vendor, technology, and partnership)
  • Supporting M&A activity, including legal due diligence, deal execution, and post-acquisition integration
  • Advising on financial regulatory matters and compliance within the FinTech space
  • Partnering with business teams to provide strategic legal input on products and services
  • Helping scale legal operations and frameworks to support international growth
  • Coordinating with external counsel across multiple jurisdictions as needed
