A dynamic and growing manufacturing company based in the Dublin area, known for our commitment to quality, innovation, and operational excellence. As we expand, we're looking for a skilled and proactive Buyer to join our procurement team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and components across our production lines.

What You'll Do

As our Buyer, you'll be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.

Responsibilities
  • Source and purchase raw materials, components, and services to support production
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to prevent shortages or overstock
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and finance teams to align purchasing with operational needs
  • Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes
Qualifications & Experience
  • 3 years' experience in a buying/procurement role, ideally within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
