About the Company

About the Role

The Consultant in palliative medicine will play a crucial role in providing specialized care to patients with serious illnesses, ensuring their comfort and quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert consultation in palliative care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient-centered care plans.
  • Support patients and families in understanding treatment options.
  • Participate in educational activities and training for staff.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in palliative medicine or related field.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate approach to patient care.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a similar role within the healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with the Irish healthcare system.

Pay range and compensation package

Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications. €231,215 - €277,736 range .
