Our client is seeking an experienced Consultant in Palliative Medicine.

The ideal candidate will be

1. Expert in symptom management, end-of-life care planning, and multidisciplinary team coordination.

2. Skilled in ethical and legal decision-making in complex palliative and terminal situations.

3. Comfortable delivering clinical services across hospice inpatient, acute hospital, and community settings, including evening and weekend on‑call support.

4. Demonstrates strong communication, leadership, and flexibility, with an ability to work in evolving environments.

5. Committed to supporting service development initiatives, such as new ambulatory clinics and unit expansions.

- Registration as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in the specialty of palliative medicine.

- Medical Board / Council Certificate of Good Standing
