Overview

Trainee Field Service Engineers

Our Trainee Field Service Engineers Candidates will learn and develop new practical craft-related skills. You will receive onsite and direct manufacturers training.

You will be working with and learning from experienced engineers, or you may apply for our Electronic Security Systems Craftsperson Apprenticeship Program. You may be about to graduate or have hobbies such as sound engineering, video gaming, programming, and troubleshooting some home products.

Responsibilities
  • Receive onsite and direct manufacturers training to develop practical craft-related skills.
  • Work with and learn from experienced engineers.
  • Consider applying for the Electronic Security Systems Craftsperson Apprenticeship Program.
  • Travel within the Service Territory (Midlands - 85%, Dublin - 10%, with some additional counties from time to time).
Qualifications
  • Flexibility to travel within the Service Territory.
  • Demonstrate good work practices, familiarity with technology, timekeeping, tidiness, responsibility, quality awareness and safety awareness.
  • Must be physically active, as you will be working with a variety of equipment, specialised hand tools and power tools.
  • Experience is preferable but not essential; full onsite and manufacturing-based training on all products and procedures will be completed regularly.
