2026 Graduate Programme – Onsite Working

Location: Ballyragget facility, Co. Kilkenny, onsite. Reports to the EH&S Manager.

Join our EH&S team as an EH&S Associate in a role that is onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Safety is our number one priority. Learn to put safety first and gain experience in the safe systems approach in a busy production environment.
  • Environmental and Sustainability – Work with our Utilities Team to learn how environmental care and sustainability operate in a large production environment.
  • Problem solving and continuous improvement – Collaborate with the EHS team using lean/6 sigma tools to support enterprise excellence and a proactive safety culture.
  • EHS Management – Support EHS policies and procedures, conduct risk assessments, follow up actions with production, communicate safety alerts and training, report EHS metrics, and participate in audits/inspections by external bodies (e.g., EPA, Department of Agriculture, customers). Ensure compliance with the environmental licence in partnership with the wider EHS team.

Requirements

  • High academic record with a degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or a related discipline; expected minimum 2.2 honours degree
  • Aim to progress in operations and production in a dynamic environment
  • Commercial thinking and customer-centric solutions
  • Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills
  • Clear communication and ability to influence at all levels
  • Desire to continually learn and grow
  • Analytical thinking with ability to develop insights and drive change
