This role is a shift based role. Candidates must have ability to work on a monthly rotating shift pattern. Exact shift details are shared during interview stage.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Wafer Production: Perform functions associated with all aspects of wafer production, including operations, equipment handling, and process training.
  2. Equipment Maintenance: Conduct maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot issues, and work on defect reduction.
  3. Technical Proficiency: Utilize technical manuals, specifications, drawings/diagrams, schematics, and verbal instructions to perform tasks.
  4. Problem Solving: Apply problem-solving techniques and use various tools and test equipment to address production challenges.

Qualifications

Education:

  1. National Framework Qualification (NFQ) Level 6/7 in a technical discipline.
  2. 3+ years in technical / semiconductor / pharmaceutical / biomedical / medical device manufacturing.
  3. 3+ years of hands-on preventative and corrective maintenance in a regulated environment.
  4. 3+ years in electronics, equipment troubleshooting, installation, repair, and operation in a regulated environment.

Skills:

  1. Eagerness to learn new skills.
  2. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  3. Ability to work effectively in a diverse team and multitask.
  4. Capability to work with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities.
  5. Skills to proactively drive operational / maintenance improvements.

Preferred Experience (Not Essential):

  1. Hands-on maintenance of semiconductor equipment.
  2. Influencing the creation of new specifications, procedures, and business processes related to equipment maintenance.
  3. Knowledge of process control systems.
  4. Experience troubleshooting using schematics and complex diagrams.
  5. Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement.
  6. Knowledge of lean manufacturing disciplines - High Precision Maintenance and Smart Place Work Organization.
  7. Maintaining vacuum systems, precision mechanical equipment, or RF systems.
  8. Willingness to travel for assignments as needed.
