Offer DescriptionApplications are invited for the position of part-time Research Assistant Admin. The post holder will contribute to the data management portfolio of studies taking place in the Cancer Trials Cork Unit at Cork University Hospital. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, computer literacy, organisation, and an awareness of time management.
The Research Assistant will manage data in the department of Cancer Trials Cork at CUH. The responsibilities include creating, updating, maintaining, and validating clinical study databases, and providing computerized reports of these data. The role is vital within the clinical project team and requires the ability to prioritize tasks and work in line with project management decisions.
The main duties involve managing clinical trials through review, computerization, cleaning, and auditing of clinical data and databases, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines. The goal is to ensure data accuracy and consistency before passing it on to the study team for analysis, which will determine the trial's outcome.
