What We're Looking For
Qualifications & Experience: Have at least 1 year Homecare experience in Ireland, at least 2 Core Modules of QQI level 5 in Health & Social care - Care Skills and Care of the Older person and working towards Full QQI level 5 in Health & Social Care
Drivers licence: Hold a full driving licence with access to a car
Communication Skills: Good standard of English - both spoken and written
Flexibility: Must be available to work alternative weekends
Desirable criteria: Have excellent interpersonal skills, and have an empathic approach to people and be highly organised, and have excellent time management skills
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- To be responsible for staff shadowing - ensuring Health & Safety policies and procedures
- To undertake emergency over - Rapid response (filling new packages and discharges)
- To evaluate and monitor the quality of the care delivered to clients and report to the area manager with concerns
- Checking and collecting journal notes from clients houses
- Delivery of Careplans, log sheets and gloves to client's homes when required
- Delivery of PPE
- To undertake any other reasonable duties as required*
