We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager - ICU in our Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.
- In their absence, fill in as the CNM2/Clinical Coordinator's stand-in.
- Actively report incidents and promote quality management incident reporting.
- Recognize the potential electrical, chemical, and transportation threats in the department and take preventative action.
- Keep an eye on the equipment's safe maintenance and report any issues to the clinical coordinator or her designee.
- Engage in the process of Joint Commissioning Accreditation (JCI).
- Participate in getting the hospital ready for the JCI survey.
- Serve as a resource for senior nurse support in the intensive care unit.
- Encourage efficient interprofessional collaboration to maximize support, staff training, and patient care.
- NMBI Registered General Nurse Registration is essential.
- A bachelor's degree in nursing is required; a postgraduate credential in critical care is preferred.
- Preceptorship and ACLS certification are desired.
- Five years or more of cardiothoracic or surgical intensive care unit experience, with proof of a beneficial impact on critical care.
- Preceptor for a student enrolled in an adult critical care course.
- Fully Funded Private Health Insurance.
- Starting Bonus / Relocation Fee up to €5,000.
