Cluain Mhuire is a national center of innovation in public mental health service provision delivering a community based adult mental health service for the South East Coast of Co. Dublin. In addition to general adult mental health services, Cluain Mhuire provides early intervention in psychosis, ADHD, gender and general hospital mental health services.
CONSULTANT PSYCHIATRIST IN THE PSYCHIATRY OF LEARNING DISABILITY (ADULT)

Saint John of God Community Services, Community Mental Health Services Cluain Mhuire Service are now inviting applications for the part-time post of CONSULTANT PSYCHIATRIST IN THE PSYCHIATRY OF LEARNING DISABILITY (ADULT) . The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, innovative and committed to providing a quality service that responds to the needs and priorities of our service users.
Role Summary
This is a key role, and part of a great team. The successful candidate, along with two other Consultants (1 x full-time, 1 x part-time 0.5FTE), will jointly provide community mental health intellectual disability services to people living in those parts of CHO 6 covered by the Cluain Mhuire and Dublin South East Mental Health Services.
Minimum Requirements
The following professional qualifications and experience apply to this appointment:
1. Must be on the Specialist Register for Psychiatry of Learning Disability maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland or entitlement to be so registered within a six month period.
Initial location
The initial location of this role is Burton Hall Campus, Sandyford Industrial Estate, however, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS's other places of business or/and the premises of such associated s companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require. You will be given as much notice of any such change of place of work as is reasonably practicable.
