Consultant Psychiatrist – Part time / Private Practice
Opalus Healthcare
is currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled
Consultant Psychiatrist with expertise in Eating Disorders
to join a private clinic.
This is a
permanent part-time position
, offering the opportunity to deliver specialist, patient-centred care in a supportive multidisciplinary setting.
Key Responsibilities
MDT Meetings:
Take part in MDT meetings, collaborating with psychologists, dietitians, and nursing staff to provide holistic care.
Assessments of New Clients:
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations on new clients.
for adults presenting with eating disorders.
1:1 Reviews:
Provide ongoing individual reviews and management for current residents, ensuring treatment plans remain effective and responsive to patient needs.
Compliance & Documentation:
Maintain accurate and timely medical records in line with professional and regulatory standards.
Requirements
IMC Registration:
Full registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC) in the Specialist Division for Psychiatry.
Experience:
Demonstrated clinical experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist with
specialist expertise in Eating Disorders in Adults
.
Local Expertise:
Recent clinical experience in Ireland or the UK.
Work Eligibility:
Must be legally permitted to work in Ireland.
