Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with expertise in Eating Disorders to join our private clinic. This is a permanent part-time position, offering the opportunity to deliver specialist, patient-centred care in a supportive multidisciplinary setting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric evaluations and treatment plans for adults presenting with eating disorders. They will also be able to provide ongoing individual reviews and management for current residents, ensuring treatment plans remain effective and responsive to patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Taking part in MDT meetings, collaborating with psychologists, dietitians, and nursing staff to provide holistic care
  • Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations on new clients
  • Providing ongoing individual reviews and management for current residents
  • Maintaining accurate and timely medical records in line with professional and regulatory standards
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Full registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC) in the Specialist Division for Psychiatry
  • Demonstrated clinical experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist with specialist expertise in Eating Disorders in Adults
  • Recent clinical experience in Ireland or the UK
  • Work eligibility: Must be legally permitted to work in Ireland
