Support (Childcare) Worker – Permanent, 25 hours per week.
Responsibilities- Planning, co-ordinating and implementing learning experiences and activities for children within the Pre-school

About the settingLir is a well-established preschool where children with addition and complex needs attend for sessional care. We are looking for a dynamic person who has genuine interest in education and care for children with higher needs. If you are willing to be committed, share your knowledge while also willing to learn, we would like to meet you. We require a person with very good observational and communication skills who is fun loving and will make a difference in our special children's lives.
Essential Requirements- FETAC/QQI Level 5 in Childcare / Early Childcare and Education (Level 6 desirable)
- Other DCEDIY Early years recognised qualification will be considered (check website for details)
- Experience of working with children with Intellectual Disability
- Excellent communication skills
- Enthusiastic, energetic and a team player
- A valid licence to drive a manual vehicle in Ireland.
- Suitability as outlined in the introduction to the role
- FAR training completed
