We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lean Manufacturing Consultant to join our consultancy team in Ireland. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across the manufacturing sector, delivering operational excellence and measurable performance improvements through Lean principles. The ideal candidate will bring 5–10 years of relevant industry experience across manufacturing, quality, logistics, inventory and procurement, and be willing to travel as required including Northern Ireland, with some overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform robust discovery reviews to diagnose operational inefficiencies across manufacturing, quality, logistics, inventory and procurement functions
  • Design and deliver tailored Lean improvement projects on client sites
  • Take ownership of the successful delivery outcomes measurable by metrics/KPi's and other defined requirements.

  • Prepare clear, insightful reports and recommendations that demonstrate ROI and operational excellence

Candidate Profile:

  • 5–10 years' experience in manufacturing/consultancy, with exposure to quality systems, supply chain/logistics, operations, inventory and procurement. The role could suit a current stand-alone consultant wanting to be part of a team with a diverse range of services and expertise.
  • Demonstrated success leading Lean or continuous improvement initiatives in real-world industry settings
  • Multi-sectoral experience strongly preferred (e.g. engineering, pharma, FMCG, food, MedTech, construction)
  • Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field; Lean/Six Sigma certification highly desirable
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and change management skills
  • Highly self-motivated with the flexibility to travel nationwide
  • Full clean driver's licence essential

What We Offer:

  • The opportunity to work on high-impact projects across Ireland
  • Be part of a small highly specialised team delivering excellence.
  • Exposure to a wide variety of manufacturing environments and business models
  • Collaborative, and supportive team culture
  • Competitive salary and expenses.
