Overview

A main contractor who has ongoing residential projects throughout Ireland is seeking a Site Manager to support their team on a design & build residential apartment project in Cork.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the site.
  • Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
  • Check plans, drawings and supervise subcontractors across the project.
  • Manage and coordinate site staff and subcontractors on site.
  • Ensure work is carried out to the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to adhere to the construction programme.
  • Oversee quality control and safety matters on the site and ensure that regulations are adhered to.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Previous experience as a Site Manager working with a main contractor.
  • 7+ years working in a site management position.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
  • Knowledge of latest building regulations and certification standards.
  • A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks/projects.
  • Good knowledge of safety and quality management.
