We are currently seeking a motivated Part Time Deli Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys preparing fresh food, takes pride in customer service, and works well in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve hot and cold deli food to a high standard
  • Ensure counters are well-stocked, clean, and visually appealing
  • Follow food hygiene and safety procedures (HACCP compliant)
  • Take customer orders efficiently and with a positive attitude
  • Operate deli equipment safely (slicers, ovens, etc.)
  • Assist with stock rotation, date checks, and deliveries
  • Maintain cleanliness in line with company and HSE guidelines
About You / Qualifications
  • Friendly and approachable with good communication skills
  • Enjoys working in a team environment
  • Comfortable in a busy, customer-facing role
  • Good attention to detail and presentation
  • Previous deli or food-handling experience is an advantage
  • HACCP training or willingness to complete it is desirable
