Overview

Senior IT Recruitment Consultant at Linear Search

Our leading Financial Services client is looking for an Infrastructure Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise in managing and supporting IT infrastructure. Previous experience working within the financial services sector is required, along with a strong background in infrastructure operations and support. This is a daily rate contract role offering excellent daily rates.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for IT infrastructure, addressing escalated incidents, problems, and service requests in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues, ensuring optimal network performance and reliability.
  • Monitor and maintain infrastructure systems including servers, storage, and networking, ensuring availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve infrastructure-related issues and support business-critical systems.
  • Participate in the implementation of infrastructure projects, upgrades, and enhancements in line with business and IT requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and standards, conducting regular reviews and implementing improvements where necessary.
  • Document incidents, problems, changes, and solutions in accordance with ITIL best practices.
  • Work closely with external vendors and service providers to manage escalations and ensure SLA adherence.
  • Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution.
  • Identify opportunities for process and system improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments, preferably in the financial services sector.
  • Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and virtualisation technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
