Director - Talent Services at Drew Consulting

Our client is a well established Law firm based in Dublin City Centre. The firm offers a specialised service in the areas of Medical Negligence, Personal Injury and Data Protection Law claims.

Due to the continued success of the business, they are now seeking a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day to day management of file handling and Client interfacing as per file portfolio assigned.
  • Monitoring assigned file portfolio by way of weekly reviews, noting deadlines, matters to be followed up.
  • Monitoring all emails, incoming/outgoing correspondence as per assigned file portfolio.
  • Filing and up to date maintenance of hard copy to file portfolio assigned.
  • Attending Counsel in Court/Settlements/Mediations.
  • Preparing Court documents, briefs for Counsel.
  • Preparing letters of instruction to Counsel, Experts.
  • Attending to queries from Clients as per assigned file portfolio.
  • Attending consultations with Clients, Counsel and Expert witnesses.
  • Preparing cases for Trial/Settlement/Mediation.
  • Knowledge of Leap case management system preferable (not essential as training will be provided)

What we require:

  • Qualified as a solicitor in Ireland, the UK, or in another Common Law jurisdiction.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple relationships effectively.
  • Strong organisational, IT and communication skills required.
  • Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently and effectively.
  • The ability to work proactively and within a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality client service.
  • A flexible approach to work to be undertaken.
