Job Summary

Quantity Surveyor (Senior or Intermediate Level) – Citywest / Kildare / Meath / Louth

Our client is a leading Irish-based real estate developer. They are seeking motivated and experienced Quantity Surveying staff to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior QS or an Intermediate QS to play a key role in delivering two new residential projects.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for all aspects of quantity surveying for the assigned residential projects, working independently and with team members to ensure successful completion.

Responsibilities:
  • Senior Level: Develop, maintain, and manage project budgets and cost plans. Prepare and negotiate bills of quantities, tenders, and contracts. Manage and monitor sub-contractor pricing and variations. Review and approve sub-contractor claims and invoices. Provide cost reports throughout the project. Oversee and mentor junior QS if applicable.
  • Intermediate Level: Assist with budgets, tenders, contracts, and sub-contractor management. Gain experience in all aspects of residential project QS work.
Requirements:
  • Senior Level: Minimum 7 years' experience, proven track record in residential projects, knowledge of construction contracts, strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and software proficiency.
  • Intermediate Level: 2-4 years' experience, good understanding of construction principles, strong communication skills, willingness to learn.

Location:

Preferably based within easy commute of Louth, Kildare, or Meath, with frequent site visits. Office located in D20 D24 area. No WFH available.
