Clinical Nurse Manager II

CLINICAL NURSE MANAGER II - CARA WARD. Full time/Permanent Contract. Applications are invited for above position. We are looking for an experienced, innovative, self-motivated person to fill this role.
Requirements / Qualifications- Be registered on the general division of the register of nurses maintained by NMBI (essential)
- 3-5 years post registration experience in an Oncology/Palliative Care setting with a minimum of 2 years at management level (desirable)
- Have a recognised qualification or experience within the specialty (desirable)
- Have a minimum of 1 year management experience (desirable)
- Have completed a management training programme (desirable)
- Have proven clinical and professional ability
- Have good IT skills with proficiency in the use of all relevant applications
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work on own initiative and engage with patients and staff
- Be enthusiastic and highly motivated and able to work under pressure
- Have evidence of commitment to professional development
- Have ability to deal with staff at all levels within the organisation
