Access Talent Group are recruiting for an M&E Estimator for one of the biggest contractors in Ireland working on exciting large scale projects in Ireland and Europe. 

Our client is a well-established and reputable M&E Contractor known for delivering high-quality projects on a large scale. With a strong commitment to excellence and innovation, they have become a leader in the industry, providing cutting-edge solutions across various sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for M&E projects.
  • Collaborate with the project team to understand client requirements and project specifications.
  • Analyse blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
  • Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitiveness.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to gather relevant information for estimating.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and labor costs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an M&E Estimator within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and components.
  • Proficient in using estimating software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and under tight deadlines.
