Social Care Worker

CPL Healthcare is currently accepting applications for Social Care Workers for our established client, who provides exceptional care to service users with intellectual disabilities in Newmarket. Our client's main focus is to enable children and adults with disabilities to live their lives to the fullest potential. This exceptional care is delivered in day services, residential services, respite care, and home support.
Requirements for the successful candidates:
- A degree in Applied Social Studies/Social Care or a relevant qualification, or eligible for CORU registration, or CORU Registered.
- Experience working with adults/children with intellectual disabilities.
- The ability to work independently and supervise service users/staff in a residential setting.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Full manual driving license.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure the needs of service users are met.
- Teach daily living and social skills through activities.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with service users.
- Participate in activities and household tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of service users' documentation.
- Perform other duties as required.
