As part of our expansion, we are hiring a Full Time Catering Assistant to join Craddock House Nursing Home.

The ideal candidate will have catering experience, work well in a team and independently, and possess a strong work ethic and hands-on approach.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness of food prep areas
  • Food serving and basic cleaning
  • Organizing food prep areas and following food safety procedures
  • Replenishing and tidying facilities during service
  • Supporting residents professionally and promptly
  • Carrying out additional duties as needed
  • Following HACCP standards and completing daily records
  • Providing approachable customer service
  • Multitasking in a fast-paced environment

Skills/Requirements:

  • Catering experience in a nursing home or similar setting (advantageous)
  • Strong customer service skills with sensitivity towards residents
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • HACCP training (preferred)
  • Flexible working hours availability
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team
