TTM Healthcare Solutions (TTM) are currently recruiting for a Clinical Specialist Radiographer in Mammography for a role in a new state of the art hospital in Limerick City.
Role responsibilitiesThe role of the clinical specialist will involve the setting up of the new department protocols for Mammography, Governance of the area from a Radiation safety perspective and the induction and training of staff into the area. You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team in the area with Radiologists and Healthcare assistants and liaising with the wider team of consultants and nurses who are part of the patient pathway. There will also be opportunities in the role to skill mix across other modalities in the Diagnostic Imaging Department following the initial establishment period.
RotationsWhile carrying out the duties appropriate to a Radiographer in the Radiology department, maintenance of professional competence in other areas of the department is necessary as there will be a necessity for the post holder to rotate through other areas in the department.
