Senior Physiotherapist (Specific Purpose) – 22 Hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Physiotherapist (Specific Purpose) to join the Bon Secours Health System Hospital Galway, Ireland's largest private healthcare provider.

Job Purpose:

  • Current CORU registration, eligibility for ISCP membership
  • Minimum 3 years post-registration experience
  • Post graduate qualification an advantage
  • Inpatient experience in orthopaedics and rehabilitation essential
  • Current permission to work in Ireland
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong commitment to high professional standards
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Experience of quality improvement/audit
  • Ability to show clinical leadership in this role in Physiotherapy and in MDT teams
  • Strong degree of flexibility and willingness to provide early/late and weekend cover
  • Available to start: Mid-October 2025

Job Description:

  • Core patient caseload profile: outpatient musculoskeletal, mainly concussion and vestibular
  • Reporting to and under clinical supervision of senior BSG physiotherapy staff and physiotherapy manager

Ideal Candidate:

  • Successful candidate will have an elective orthopaedic caseload and will be rostered on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
  • Additional hours may be required/available.
  • Staff will be rostered on weekend rota (approx. 1 in 10).
