Senior Physiotherapist

Key Responsibilities:
- The Senior Physiotherapist will be primarily based on site, providing physiotherapy and cancer rehabilitation for Oncology, Haematology and Radiotherapy services.
- They will also help lead and manage the Oncology/Radiotherapy-related Lymphoedema service in a major healthcare provider.
- Demonstrate evidence of depth and breadth of experience in acute Oncology/Radiotherapy/Haematology services with general knowledge and experience in Cancer Rehabilitation.
- Provide Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in the area of physiotherapy care and Oncology/Radiotherapy/Haematology.
- Training and clinical experience in Lymphoedema management is essential.
- Recent relevant experience in the management of musculoskeletal complications arising from cancer surgery and radiotherapy is required.
- Awareness of Health Service reform programmes is necessary.
- Understanding of National Clinical Care Programmes is also required.
- Demonstrated depth and breadth of experience in acute Oncology/Radiotherapy/Haematology services with Cancer Rehabilitation knowledge is essential.
- Relevant CPD in physiotherapy, Oncology/Radiotherapy/Haematology is required.
- Training and clinical experience in Lymphoedema management is necessary.
- Experience in management of musculoskeletal issues related to cancer treatment is also required.
- Awareness of Health Service reform programmes is necessary.
- Understanding of National Clinical Care Programmes is required.
