About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join our team in a key specialist role. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to work closely with oncology, haematology and radiotherapy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert physiotherapy care to patients undergoing cancer treatment, focusing on rehabilitation and managing musculoskeletal complications arising from surgery and radiotherapy.
- Develop and lead the lymphoedema service in our hospital, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care, including weekend and on-call shifts.
- Proven experience in acute oncology, radiotherapy and haematology services, with a strong focus on cancer rehabilitation.
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications and ongoing professional development in physiotherapy care and oncology management.
- Training and clinical experience in lymphoedema management, with a commitment to delivering best-practice care.
- Awareness of health service reforms and understanding of national clinical care programmes.
