Are you an experienced Credit Controller seeking an exciting career opportunity? At Excel Recruitment we are currently recruiting a skilled Credit Controller on behalf of our client based in Dublin 22.
Our client values effective communication skills, along with a balanced approach in pursuing customer payments. This role requires tact, diplomacy, and empathy to ensure successful credit control.
Responsibilities:
- Credit Control: Ensure timely payments from customers and take necessary actions to suspend supplies if payments are not received.
- Monitor customer credit terms and regularly assess the extent of credit extended.
- Handle debtors by updating, entering, and allocating payments on a daily basis.
- Follow up on credit references and manage new account openings.
- Cash Handling: Reconcile cash balances and prepare bank lodgements.
- Collaborate with the telesales team to facilitate goods booking for customers.
- Liaise with Sales Manager/Reps regarding customer issues and queries.
- Process credit account applications by conducting credit checks and background investigations based on credit references provided.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of previous credit control experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office is essential, and experience with CRM systems is advantageous.
- Highly organised with meticulous record-keeping skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain strong client relationships.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks efficiently.
This role is fully office-based, Monday – Friday offering a salary of €38k-€40k DOE.
