Marlfield House is located just outside Gorey on the Courtown Road, and has two restaurants, The Duck and The Conservatory. The Duck opened in 2015 as a casual dining restaurant and has received numerous awards for its food, service and atmosphere and is included in The Michelin Guide. The Conservatory is a more formal dining experience and has also won numerous awards over the years.

Marlfield House is currently looking for a Chef de Partie to start as soon as possible.

Qualifications
  • Have experience in an award winning restaurant using local or home grown produce.
  • Be competent at looking after a section.
  • Stay up to date on food trends, have an appreciation of seasonality, love simplicity and have an appreciation and passion for the kitchen garden; be a team player.
  • Have the ability to be part of a team.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have full knowledge of adhering to HACCP.
  • Have a keen eye for detail.
  • Must love food.
  • Be imaginative.
  • Be up to date with food trends.
  • Have a passion for ingredients and appreciate and use the kitchen garden.
