Job Description:

My client, a Boutique 4* Hotel in Leinster, has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager who is energetic and passionate about hospitality sales to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a proven sales & revenue background within a similar 4* or 5* hotel environment and experience in all areas including Conference & Events, Domestic & International Travel markets. This role may suit an ambitious Sales Exec with Hotel experience who wants to grow their career and can demonstrate the delivery of business results across key sectors.

The Candidate:

  • Minimum of 3 years' Hotel Sales experience in a target-driven sales environment, ideally in a 4* or 5* Hotel environment
  • Proven track record in Weddings & Events, Local & International Sales, and domestic/overseas trade shows.
  • Commercial awareness and a good understanding of yield management and rate strategies
  • Sales focused, with targets and results being key driving factors.
  • Must be a strong self-starter and possess a recognised ability to close the sale.
  • Must have the capacity to respond to a fast-paced environment, with a multi-tasking ability in a changing environment.
  • Excellent levels of personal motivation and confidence in what they do.
  • Effective communicator to clients and colleagues alike, individually and in groups; with the capacity to provide precisely written reports.
  • A good organiser with a pro-active approach who seeks out challenges and is driven by success.
  • Possess a strong track record and over-achievement in sales targets.
  • Confident, ambitious, proactive, and keen to progress.
