We want you to feel challenged and inspired. Here, you'll develop your skills across a range of responsibilities:
- Build and maintain expert knowledge of security technologies, driving process and system improvements, and ensuring best practices.
- Execute the approval process for security-related tickets in Primark's service desk system.
- Contribute to the Security Operations Centre (SOC) capabilities, ensuring efficient detection, threat, and incident response.
- Triaging events from various sources, including employee reports, security systems, and threat intelligence data.
- Analyze and respond to detected events, escalating issues as needed.
- Review events, incidents, and industry publications, making recommendations for improvements.
- Support reporting in our metrics dashboard.
- Enforce standardised processes, troubleshoot, and apply best practices.
- Participate in cybersecurity planning, requirements, design, and tooling decisions through discussions, presentations, and documentation.
At Primark, we value authenticity. Please bring your key experience and abilities:
- 3+ years of enterprise cybersecurity experience, ideally with Cloud and on-premise technologies.
- Experience in Cyber Security Operations, Incident Response, and Investigations.
- Solid understanding of modern operating systems and networking protocols.
- Experience working in multi-skilled teams.
- Strong adherence to processes, roles, responsibilities, and high-quality delivery.
- An appropriate degree, qualification, or equivalent experience.
- Security certifications like GIAC, CompTIA, Microsoft, CISM, CISA, CISSP, or CRISC are desirable.
