Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Toolmaker to join our team in Galway. This role will primarily support the repairs and spares side of the business, ensuring high-quality tooling solutions for our customers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with debug of a multi cavity injection mold tools, surface grinding, and assembly work. Some strong communication skills a valuable asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture, modify, and repair precision tools, jigs, and fixtures.
• Support welding, surface grinding, and operations as required.
• Assemble and fit mechanical components with high precision.
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of tooling to ensure minimal downtime.
• Work closely with the team to support the repairs and spares division.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers when needed.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and project deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Qualification in Toolmaking, Precision Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a toolmaking or precision engineering environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience in tool repair and maintenance is highly desirable.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for occasional customer interactions.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
